Mary Goodacre, AuD, CCCA has been a practicing audiologist since July 1980. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Brooklyn College in 1978. She received her Master of Arts in 1980 from the University of Maryland. In 2008 she received her doctorate degree from Salus University, School of Audiology in Pennsylvania. Dr. Goodacre attends many seminars and lectures to stay current in the field of Audiology. Dr. Goodacre became the owner of Staten Island Audiological Services in 2000. Prior to become the owner she had worked at Staten Island Audiological Services as a consulting audiologist since 1989. Dr. Goodacre received her Certificate of Clinical Competency in 1980 and is licensed by both New York State and New Jersey in audiology and hearing aid dispensing. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech Hearing Association.
Dr. Spektor received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees at the City University of New York. She received her doctorate degree at Salus University, School of Audiology in Pennsylvania. Dr. Spektor joined Staten Island Audiological Services in 2002. She established a central auditory processing disorder clinic in 2003. Dr. Spektor has been supervising clinical fellows and fifth year residents at S.I. Audiological Services, PC for several years. Dr. Spektor received her certificate of clinical competency in 2003 and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is licensed by the State of New York in audiology and hearing aid dispensing.
Staten Island Audiological Services has been serving the metro area for over 25 years. Our audiologists are required to undergo extensive training to stay current with the latest hearing aid technology and developments in the field of Audiology. Our mission is to provide our customers with the most professional, courteous service, and quality care.
We provide a full range of audiological services, including hearing testing, video-electronystagmography evaluations, auditory brainstem response evaluations and central auditory processing evaluations. Our office provides evaluations for the latest hearing aid techology. We also offer custom earmolds, muscian ear protection, swim molds, and recreational ear protection. All evaluations are completed by Doctors of Audiology who are licensed by New York State.
