Tom Higgins, BC-HIS, Director of Advanced Hearing Services, is not only a licensed hearing aid dispenser but has also earned the designation of Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences. He has also successfully completed continued professional study in Audioprosthology accredited by the American Council on Education and declared an Audioprosthologist. He is the Supervising Licensee at Advanced Hearing Services. He is a member of the New Jersey Association of Hearing Health Professionals and the International Hearing Society. Tom developed Advanced Hearing Services with the sincerest belief that with better hearing comes an improved quality of life. The concept of family participation and education is often overlooked in the aural rehabilitation process, but it is at the heart of his philosophy.
