Mary Mitskavich

M.D.
Dr. Mary Mitskavich is the founder of Coastal Ear, Nose and Throat, LLC and is the managing partner. She received her undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from Duquesne University, graduating Summa Cum Laude as the class Valedictorian. Dr. Mitskavich completed medical school, internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Currently, Dr. Mitskavich serves as a clinical instructor at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She was on the Board of Directors of Meridian Ambulatory Care, Inc. In 2007, Dr. Mitskavich was voted by her peers as one of New Jersey Monthly’s Top Doctors.

Sean Houston

M.D.
Received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Georgetown University and his Medical Doctorate from the Georgetown School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Houston is a contributing author to a textbook entitled Decision Making in Ear, Nose and Throat Disorders and has been a featured speaker at the Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery Annual Conference. Dr. Houston serves as a Clinical Instructor for the Residency Program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and is Board Certified in Pediatric and Adult Otolaryngology. In 2007, Dr. Houston was voted by his peers as one of New Jersey Monthly’s Top Doctors and is the recipient of 2 Patient Choice awards. Dr. Houston was featured on the front page of the Asbury Park Press April 12, 2010 for his consistent excellence in treating children with Eustachian tube dysfunction

Suzanne McCorry

Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. McCorry has over 25 years of experience as an audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. She obtained a Bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology in 1984 at Ithaca College and went on to obtain a Masters degree in Audiology from Northwestern University in 1985. She recently earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the Pennsylvania School of Optometry, now known as Salus University. She is a fellow member of the American Academy of Audiology and has the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. She has been with Coastal Ear, Nose and Throat since 1998. Dr. McCorry’s areas of expertise include diagnosing hearing loss and fitting hearing aids on infants and very young children. She has extensive experience in the diagnostic testing of patients with balance disorders. She enjoys working with challenging populations, including children with autism and developmental disabilities. She sees fitting hearing aids as an opportunity to have a very positive impact on the lives of people with hearing loss.

Kristen Olsen

CCC-A, FAAA
Kristen Olsen, Sc.D., CCC-A received her Doctor of Science degree in Audiology from Montclair State University and her Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology from Loyola College in Maryland. She is a licensed New Jersey hearing aid dispenser and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Her areas of interest include vestibular and electrophysiological testing and interpretation, pediatric and adult auditory assessment, diagnosis, and amplification, and auditory processing disorders. Her doctoral research project involved evaluating the test specificity of an assessment of vestibular function. 5/3/11 Dispensing Oticon an Phonak does kids and adultsfamiliar with Oticon products

Tara Fuchs

Au.D., FAAA
Dr. Fuchs is a hearing-health professional with an audiologic career that spans over a decade. Dr. Fuchs earned her Master of Arts in Audiology from The College of New Jersey in 1997 followed by her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida in 2003. During Dr. Fuch’s audiology tenure, she also became a member of both the American Academy of Audiology and the NJ Association of Hearing Health Professionals. She has spent time working as an Adjunct Professor at The College of New Jersey to help educate the next generation of hearing-health professionals. As both an industrial and clinical audiologist, Dr. Fuch’s professional experience spans from pediatric through geriatric patients. 5/3/11 mainly doing balanceusing Phonak products*adults

Jessica Miller

Dr. Miller received both her Bachelor’s and Doctorate in Audiology degrees from James Madison University in Virginia. She is a licensed Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser. Jessica also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. After experiencing a variety of clinical settings including hospitals, VA medical centers, ENT offices, & private practice, she has found her niche working with hearing aids

Our team of doctors, audiologists, and hearing instrument specialists will work together to address all of your hearing healthcare needs all under one roof. We are committed to forming and ongoing relationship with you to ensure your continued satisfaction. Balance is often taken for granted. The balance system involves a complex set of sensory and motor control systems. We can provide a full assessment of your balance system utilizing state-of-the-art videonystagmography performed by an experienced, licensed audiologist. Based on the results of the examination, the physicians may recommend medication, surgical intervention or vestibular rehabilitation. Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialized physical therapy focused on balanced disorders. We are fortunate to have a highly qualified, experience vestibular physical therapist occupying a suite in our Neptune location.
