Hearing Testing: Complete audiological evaluations for adults and children. Information is used in the diagnosis of hearing loss and the most appropriate course of treatment, medical intervention or hearing aids. Immittance Measures: Tympanometry to test middle ear function. This can determine the origination of the hearing loss and if medical intervention is warranted. Auditory Brainstem Response: Specialized testing that is used to rule out retro cochlear pathology. Typically ordered by our ENT physicians due to significant difference in hearing between the ears or unexplained tinnitus. Electronystagmography: Specialized testing used to assess balance function for patients. If you have ongoing dizzy symptoms, this test can determine if their inner ear is the cause. Hearing Aids: Hearing aid selection, real ear measurements, hearing aid dispensing and repair of most manufacturor's aids. We work with a large variety of manufactures and have access to multiple levels of technology so that we are able to find the best hearing aids to meet your specific listening needs. Custom Earpieces: Custom swim molds to keep water out of the ears, musician's plugs, noise protectors and ear molds for cellular phones are available through our office. Custom earpieces are becoming more popular because of the comfort and safety features that they offer. Assistive Listening Devices: Instruments used with or without hearing aids to help reduce background noise and the adverse effects of the distance between the speaker and listener. These devices are typically only available for special order. We do have limited stock of TV amplifiers and amplified telephones on hand for demonstration.
