Dr. Brooke Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Doctor of Audiology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Her work has been published in an international journal and she has presented research to other professionals in the field. She also studied the hearing acuity of music majors as a research assistant. Her previous experience includes the University of Virginia and the Martinsburg (WV) Veterans Administration, and she has volunteered with the Special Olympics. She is a native of the Piedmont Triad.
Dr. Mallorie Price is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a native of Rockingham County. While receiving her education, she worked with the UNC Hospitals Adult Hearing Aid Clinic, the Carolina Children’s Communications Disorders Program, and Carolina Ear & Hearing. She is especially skilled in performing diagnostic evaluations, in the selection and fitting of hearing aids in the adult and geriatric populations using real ear verification, and in troubleshooting and patient counseling regarding hearing aid care and maintenance.
Dr. Price attended UNC for her undergraduate education as well. A Dean’s List student, she participated in Lambda Pi Eta (Communication Studies Honor Society), was the Public Relations Chair for the North Carolina Student Speech and Language Hearing Association, and sang with the Tar Heel Voices a cappella group.
Away from the clinic, she enjoys reading, taking pictures, and cheering on the Carolina Tar Heels!
