
Dr. Jaren Bates, who is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, earned her AuD at Central Michigan University. Before earning her doctorate, Dr. Bates received a BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Maine. In addition to having her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Dr. Bates takes special interest in newborn and pediatric diagnostics. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and photography.

Evaluations include measures of hearing sensitivity for Air and Bone conducted sounds, measures of Speech Discrimination ability and as well as Speech Reception Thresholds. When necessary, assessment of the middle ear function (impedance audiometry), and special testing to determine the location of dysfunction by a certified Audiologist. * Hearing Aid Accessories Hearing aid batteries, custom-made ear molds, swim plugs, noise protectors, assistive listening devices such as audio induction loops, infrared systems and FM modulated systems, TV listening devices and telephone amplifiers, and items for the care and maintenance of your hearing aids are always available. * Counseling & Rehabilitation Often, families and spouses need to be included to obtain the optimum results for the person using the hearing aid.
