Preferred Hearing Care

Sue Ekstam has a unique work history in the field of audiology. For eleven years, Sue worked for two major hearing aid manufactures, Oticon and Unitron Hearing, traveling a large extended territory training audiologists and hearing instrument specialist on the features, benefits, and programming of the latest cutting edge hearing instrument technology.  She has spoken to countless audiences; both professional and to the general public. Prior to her employment on the hearing instrument manufacturering side, Sue worked clinically at a private dispensing practice. Sue earned her Master of Science degree in Audiology  from Missouri State University.  

Joe Wilson received his dispensing license in 2008 and apprenticed under the former Chairman of the Missouri Board of Examiners for four years. Joe’s concern for the needs of his patients and his dedication to helping them enjoy life more fully has made him the Specialist of choice for hundreds of patients in southwest and central Missouri. Joe is familiar with the latest technology and is qualified to help all patients, even those with difficult to fit hearing loss. It is Joe's belief that educating his patients is critical to helping them successfully overcome their loss and lead active, vibrant lives.
