The Moog Center for Deaf Education
About this clinic
The Moog Center for Deaf Education is an independent, not-for-profit school providing vital educational services to young children with hearing loss from birth to early elementary years. Our goal at the Moog Center is to make it possible for more children with hearing loss to talk and experience success in their lives. We believe that optimal access to sound has a huge impact in terms of rate of progress in children.
The Moog Center has four pediatric Doctors of Audiology to serve the families and children in our Family School and School as well as alumni who continue to receive services from the Moog Center. Their experience and talent in working with infants and toddlers is a major factor in our children learning faster and talking better.
Our audiologists are skilled in programming and fitting hearing aids, cochlear implants and FM systems on very young children, sometimes as young as a few weeks. They are immediately available for trouble-shooting. This has resulted in our children achieving excellent speech perception skills which has contributed to their accelerated learning.
