Roxanne Kapala earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders at Northern Michigan University, her Masters degree in Audiology at Central Michigan University and a Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital and Medical Center in 1986. Her experience includes Staff Audiologist for a five person ENT practice in Wichita, Kansas; a Consulting Audiologist for an earmold manufacturer; and Staff Audiologist for Bell Memorial Hospital in Ishpeming, Michigan. Based on Bieri Hearing Specialists reputation for excellent service and caring which fit perfectly with her own philosophy on treatment of patients, Roxanne decided to begin working at Bieri Hearing Specialists in November of 2000.

Martha Anderson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology/Speech and Hearing at the University of Michigan and her Masters degree in Audiology at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. After graduation in 1987 she worked with Dr. Nicholas Redfield for 5 years. After earning her degrees, Martha returned to Saginaw and began working for Bieri Hearing. Martha loves helping people. She enjoys listening to their stories and telling them some of her own.

Sue Rabior began working at Bieri Hearing in 1986 after receiving her Masters degree in Audiology from Central Michigan University. Sue finds great satisfaction in counseling her patients and their families about hearing impairment. Much care is given to help them understand hearing loss and how it can be improved with the latest and best products.

Sophia Meyer received her training in Hearing Aid Sales & Service through the International Hearing Aid Society In 1982 she obtained her State of Michigan License for Hearing Aid Sales. While working at Bieri Hearing part-time during high school, Sophia gained empathy for the needs of the hard of hearing. Her greatest satisfaction comes from going the "extra mile" to service her client's needs. Sophia regularly takes the time to go out to nursing homes to service patients that are unable to come into the office. Sophia is proud of the products Bieri Hearing sells because they make a profound improvement in the life of the patients, their families and their friends.

Cathy grew up knowing she wanted to help people solve their hearing problems. Both her Grandfather and Grandmother Bieri were hearing impaired. Her Father, Gottlieb Bieri, was a pioneer in providing new technology in hearing improvement. Cathy earned her B.A. in speech and audiology at Michigan State, an MSC in speech pathology at Auburn University and an M.A. in audiology at Central Michigan University. Cathy embarked on a career in the field of audiology and speech pathology by taking advantage of the opportunity to work with her Father at Bieri Hearing Services. In 1986, Cathy's Father passed away and Cathy assumed the responsibilities of President of Bieri Hearing Instruments, Inc. Cathy continued her education while operating & working at Bieri Hearing Specialists. Cathy received her Doctorate in Audiology, March 10, 2005. Always up to a challenge, Cathy has opened new locations in Midland, Frankenmuth, Bay City, Clare. She credits her success to helping people live a better life by improving their hearing and speech through her attention to personal care and utilizing the most advanced hearing technology.

By 1990, Linda Meyer had earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts degree. From 1992-1996, she served as Industrial Audiologist at Constance Brown Hearing and Speech Center. Linda's love of helping people and Bieri Hearing's willingness to work with each client's individual needs is what attracted her to the position. Having worn hearing aids since the age of 5, Linda knows first-hand what it's like to be hearing impaired. She willingly shares her personal experiences to help other deal with their own, or a family member's hearing loss. Linda earned her Au.D. in 2010 and proudly continues to provide patient's with kind, courteous and knowledgeable care that Bieri Hearing Specialists have provided to Mid-Michigan for over 55 years.

Patient Advocate. Patty contacts patients to schedule appointments, to follow-up with patients, to answer patients questions, and to ensure that every patient is satisfied with the service and the products they received.

Director of Operations

Jenae Schabel received her Doctor of Audiology Degree from Central Michigan University in May 2011. She has returned to her home town of Bay City and joined Bieri Hearing Specialists. She will work permanently in the Bay City and Midland locations with Dr. Linda Meyer. Dr. Schabel’s, warm friendly personality, added to the current staff of prominent Audiologists, allows for Bieri Hearing Specialists Bay City and Midland offices to now better serve patients. Prior to receiving her Doctorate, Dr. Schabel served her 4th year Externship at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree, Summa Cum Laude Majoring in Communication Disorders and Minoring in Human Development from Central Michigan University. The experience she received at Henry Ford was a great opportunity for her to give comprehensive hearing evaluations and to work extensively with pediatric and adult patients.
