Dr. Gupta has been a practicing Ear, Nose, Throat Physician in Royal Oak since 1998. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages, from one day old to one hundred years old. He was raised here in the Detroit area and completed all of his education in Southeast Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 1989 and then went on to Wayne State University Medical School, graduating in 1993. During medical school he showed an affinity for ENT by doing extra rotations, and winning the NIH Training Grant in Otolaryngology in 1993. Dr. Gupta completed his Otolaryngology residency at the Detroit Medical Center in 1998. During his training, he spent extra time as Chief Resident in the ENT Department at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He also spent considerable time training at the Michigan Ear Institute. He joined the staff of William Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak in 1998, and has been active staff in good standing ever since. In 1999 Dr. Gupta became certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has numerous research publications and presentations to his credit. He has also helped to train Wayne State Otolaryngology residents when they rotated at Beaumont Hospital.
