If deemed necessary, a discussion on hearing aids and your prognosis with amplification will come next. * Explanation of Findings and Recommendations The audiological test battery will result in a diagnosis of the type and degree of hearing loss in both ears. A detailed description of your hearing loss will be provided, and ramifications on social and emotional well-being will be discussed. Recommendations for rehabilitation are made, and may include 1) amplification, 2) a medical referral and/or 3) a follow-up evaluation in the future. * Hearing Aid Demonstrations If hearing loss is confirmed, and no further testing or medical follow-up is deemed necessary, you will have the opportunity to experience the latest technology in hearing aids. Demonstration hearing aids will be programmed to match your hearing loss so that you can listen to them both in our quiet office and the noisy environment outside (near 14 Mile road).
