Dr. Jeanne Ward and Mr. Aaron Gale decided to open a private office while working at a large medical office. They found their jobs unfulfilling, and felt their Audiology positions lacked personalized service and care. Bottom line: hearing health care as a whole was missing a personal side. In their own office, Dr. Ward and Mr. Gale could better control the level of service and follow-up care lacking in other work environments. Even though they knew opening their own office would be challenging, they were confident they could provide a level of patient care that is difficult to find in today's hectic world. Premium Hearing Solutions (PHS) opened in August 1999. Since then, PHS has successfully provided quality hearing care, educated patients on hearing and hearing aids, stayed abreast of technology changes, and has never forgotten the most important business aspect: personalized attention! Mr. Aaron Gale was an important part of PHS from August 1999 to July 2005. In July 2005, he decided to leave to pursue other interests. Dr. Melissa Anderson joined the office in September, 2005. Her professional goals and personal interests were a 'perfect fit', and she has rapidly become an integral member of PHS. We are thankful to have her! Dr. Brian Kibby is our most recent addition to our outstanding team. He joined our staff in March 2010, and brings a wide breath of hearing aid fitting experience. We will examine your ears, remove any excess earwax, evaluate your middle ear system (eardrum, bones and muscles), test your hearing, and evaluate how well you understand speech. These tests will permit us to diagnose the type and degree of hearing loss in each ear and make rehabiliative or medical recommendations. A detailed description of your hearing loss, and its affect on communication, will be provided. If deemed necessary, a discussion on hearing aids and your prognosis with amplification will come next. * Explanation of Findings and Recommendations The audiological test battery will result in a diagnosis of the type and degree of hearing loss in both ears. A detailed description of your hearing loss will be provided, and ramifications on social and emotional well-being will be discussed.
