Dr. Layne has been a practicing audiologist for more than 25 years. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Hearing Aid Association. She is also a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Dr. Layne has served on the Executive Council of the National Hearing Conservation Association, which has awarded her the Threadgill Award for Outstanding Service and the President’s Award for Distinguished Service. She is an editor of the Noise Manual and past editor of Spectrum, the Journal of the National Hearing Conservation Association. In 2009, she received the President’s Award from the American Hearing Aid Association, given yearly to an audiology practice that shows exceptional performance and growth.
Dr. Matt Lewandowski joined Marty Layne Audiology in June of 2012 after completing his Doctorate in Audiology at Central Michigan University. His areas of specialty included hearing aid selection and fitting and tinnitus management. We welcome Matt to the practice! He is looking forward to settling in Maine, and to meeting our current and future clients.
Kelly has been with Marty Layne Associates for two years. In that time, she has worked in both the Kennebunk and South Portland offices. She enjoys working with hearing loss customers and with the hearing instruments and the technology that make a big improvement in our customers’ ability to hear.
Where you purchase your hearing instruments really does matter! Since 1995, our professional audiology practice has provided hearing tests, hearing aids and other hearing assistance to more than 6,000 people in southern Maine. We emphasize treating our clients well, and we stay current on professional audiology treatments for hearing loss. Our office started in Scarborough, Maine, and we now have a Kennebunk location as well. In each location, we welcome you to the same friendly and professional service.
