
Amy Booth is a highly trained and qualified Audiologist for the Communication Sciences and Disorders audiology department. She came to the University of Maine from Gorgas Army Hospital in the Republic of Panama where she served as Chief of Audiology. She also provides hearing evaluations and consultations for the Maine Sea Coast mission and serves as the State of Maine Clinic Coordinator for Healthy Hearing Special Olympics. Amy is a graduate of Kent State University and has been practicing Audiology since 1987.
The University of Maine Audiology Clinis is a part of the Department of Communiction Sciences and Disorders (CSD)at the university. The mision of the CSD depart is threefold dedicating itself to service, education, and research. The clinic serves more than 700 individuals each year from all regions of of the state. Most individuals seen at the clinic are not university affliated; however, many are current faculty members, staff, and alumni. The Audiology Clinic offers the latest in technology and services to patients of all ages.
