Dr. Layne has been a practicing audiologist for more than 25 years. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Hearing Aid Association. She is also a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Dr. Layne has served on the Executive Council of the National Hearing Conservation Association, which has awarded her the Threadgill Award for Outstanding Service and the President’s Award for Distinguished Service. She is an editor of the Noise Manual and past editor of Spectrum, the Journal of the National Hearing Conservation Association. In 2009, she received the President’s Award from the American Hearing Aid Association, given yearly to an audiology practice that shows exceptional performance and growth.
Patricia has been helping people with hearing impairment for the last nineteen years in New Hampshire and Maine. She is a student of the psychology of hearing impairment and its effects on quality of life. She has watched technology improve by leaps and bounds over the past nineteen years and feels that today's technology can offer hope to nearly every kind of hearing loss. She derives great satisfaction from seeing her patients thrive when they've been fit with appropriate technology.
Jon is newer to the field of hearing instrument dispensing, having joined our practice in November of 2012. Nevertheless, his desire to learn and his drive have elevated him to the level of more seasoned hearing instrument professionals. Jon loves knowing everything about the hearing products he represents, and enjoys working closely with patients to guide them to the hearing solution that is best for them.
