Licensed doctor of audiology Kathy Mellott has been heklping people hear better for over three decades. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Hearing and Speech Sciences from University of Maryland, College Park and her Master's of Science in Audiology from Towson University. Her Clinical Fellowship Year in Audiology was obtained through the Washington County, MD Public Schools.
Dr. Mellott's husband, Pat, is the Office Manager in the Upper Marlboro office. They participate in area health fairs and annually promote hearing protection at the Mid-Atlantic Flute Fair with Musician's Earplugs. She is also a member of the Church Council at her church, Treasurer of the Beltsville Recreation Council, 1st VP of the Emory Grove Association of Baltimore, and Regent of the Colonel Tench Tilghman Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Audiology Unlimited and College Park Hearing Services work with about a dozen hearing aid manufacturers to provide many options for our patients. All hearing aids dispensed are digital and programmable. Most hearing aids are essentially invisible in the ear.
Dr. Mellott provides state-of-the-art amplification systems and is knowledgeable in technology for using hearing aids with television, telephones, cell phones and other electronic devices.
