Ms. Yaffe-Oziel is the Director of the Family Hearing Center at The Treatment and Learning Centers. She has more than 30 years of experience as an audiologist and she has authored several articles on hearing loss and hearing disorders for Washington Parent magazine, the Senior Beacon newspaper and other local publications. Ms. Yaffe-Oziel received her Master’s of Medical Science degree in audiology from Emory University.
Ms. Khaskia has been an audiologist at the Family Hearing Center for over 10 years. One of her specialties is working with children to provide evaluations of Auditory Processing Disorders (APD). She is fluent in Arabic and Hebrew and has three daughters. Ms. Khaskia loves her work and enjoys making a difference in the lives of her clients.
Ms. Rozmaryn has a long history with the Family Hearing Center; she began working there as an Audiology Aide in 1999. After earning an MS degree in audiology from Howard University, she returned to the Family Hearing Center to work as a licensed audiologist. She is fluent in Spanish. Ms. Rozmaryn feels extremely lucky to enjoy her work, where she works and the colleagues with whom she works. She is married with two children.
Ms. Richards has been providing audiology services at the Family Hearing Center for 25 years. During that time, she and her husband have raised four children. They also have four Pomeranians and three horses. Ms. Richards has enjoyed her career at the Family Hearing Center because it’s more than just a place of work. It’s the place where she spends time with her closest friends and meets wonderful people.
The Family Hearing Center is part of The Treatment and Learning Centers, a local, non-profit organization in Rockville, MD founded in 1950. Our mission is to improve lives and expand possibilities for individuals with special needs, and we specialize in services for children and adults with learning disabilities, helping them reach their full potential.
The Treatment and Learning Centers offers many first-rate programs and services for the community, including the Family Hearing Center, childcare and preschool programs, testing and tutoring services and a community education program. Our pediatric services include speech-language and occupational therapy, interaction groups, summer programs, and The Katherine Thomas School, an independent special education day school for students preschool to 12th grade. For adults with disabilities, we offer multiple programs through our Outcomes Service.
