Diagnostic Audiology - The audiometric evaluation consists of pure tone air conduction, bone conduction, speech reception thresholds, and speech discrimination. Pure tone air and bone conduction testing identify the degree of hearing loss as well as the type of hearing loss. Speech testing measures an individual's ability to understand speech. Otoadmittance testing may be done to determine middle ear function. Hearing Aid Prescription & Fitting - We offer a wide variety of digital of hearing aids, from the most highly rated domestic and international manufacturers. We work with you to find the best solution for your hearing healthcare needs and your budget. Hearing Aid Consultation/Evaluations - You and your audiologist will determine which hearing aids are most appropriate for your hearing loss and lifestyle. Many factors are considered when making this determination including: processing technology, cosmetics, activity level, physical ability, medical conditions and finances. Hearing Aid Verification - Making certain that your hearing aids are fit appropriately is a very important part of your success with amplification. We use a process called speech mapping to insure that all speech sounds through your hearing aids are audible and easy to hear. Hearing Aid Service and Repairs - We service and repair most brands of hearing aids. A simple retubing, cleaning or wax removal can be done in the office. We send all aids that require factory services back to the original manufacturer. We can get your aid repaired quickly and give you a loaner until your aid is back. Warranty Repairs - We honor most all manufacturers' warranty repairs. Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) - We offer information and guidance on the use of assistive listening devices, such as amplified telephones, FM and infrared systems and television listening devices. Bluetooth Compatible Devices - We offer many different hearing aid models that can be used with Bluetooth compatible cell phones. Swim Molds, Ear Molds, Ear Protection Plugs - We offer a variety of ear molds and earpieces for noise protection, swimming, music, I-pod, cell phone use, and outdoor recreation such as hunting or auto racing. Many kinds of noise or environmental exposure can potentially contribute to hearing loss and/or discomfort. People who do not want water in their ear canals can have floatable swimmer's earplugs made of a water resistant material that can even be made to change colors. People who are musicians can have custom musician plugs made for on-stage use. So whether your noise or environmental exposure comes from your work environment, recreational environment or something as simple as mowing your lawn, custom ear molds or ear plugs can provide protection. Battery Sales - We sell all sizes of hearing aid batteries for all types of hearing aids. We offer a battery club for additional savings. Real-Ear Measurement - A small tube attached to a microphone is inserted into the ear along with the hearing aid, and the output of the aid, as modified by the ear canal, can be measured to assure adequate amplification when setting or programming the aid.
