Having Deaf family members, Dr. Parker has first hand experience of the difficulties that face those affected with communicative disorders. These experiences, accompanied with his devotion to science, have shaped his career path to contribute to the amelioration of hearing loss through the application of basic science. Dr, Parker holds a Masters degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences (Audiology), a doctorate in Neuroscience. He has taught Audiology courses at Emerson College as an Assistant Professor, and conducted basic research at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, which is a teaching hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School, since 2005. Recently, Dr. Parker has taken the position of Director of Audiology at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, MA, which is a teaching Hospital of Tufts Medical School. In this position, Dr. Parker manages the Audiological and vestibular assessment programs, auditory rehabilitation programs at the Hearing Aid Center, and the laboratory of Neuroregeneration at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. Dr. Parker is one of the few Audiologists in the country who is qualified to both see clinical patients and conduct research on the molecular biology of hair cell regeneration.

Christina Hammer

Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA

Christina received her Au.D. from the University of Washington at Seattle in 2009. Since then she has worked in an ear-nose-throat setting, providing care to patients with both hearing and balance problems. Her clinical interests include hearing aids and adult diagnostics.
