Green Clinic was established in 1948 by Dr. Marvin T. Green, Sr., who said, "It soon became evident to me, a young doctor just out of training, that medical men in general were not sufficiently cooperative, and there was too much duplication of effort. In a community such as ours, a cooperative effort would have to be developed if the people of our area were to have the best medical care that could be provided." The Clinic never wavered from this philosophy and developed into a true multi-specialty group practice. Since that time, the clinic has grown to include 39 physicians in 20 specialties.
