Kimberly Sanborn is the lead audiologist at the Covington office. She obtained her doctoral degree in Audiology from LSU Health Sciences Center. She provides a broad range of services to her patients that includes diagnostic hearing evaluations for adults and children, auditory processing disorder (APD) evaluations, balance assessments (VNG), and has special interest in hearing aid dispensing for adults and children. Dr. Sanborn staffs the Covington office to accommodate new and existing patients. She also sees patients in the Metairie office by special appointment.
Mrs. Creel, the Director of Creel Hearing Center, holds a master’s degree in the field of Audiology, and has been active in her profession for over 30 years. She entered this field in 1979 joining the Browne-McHardy Clinic to develop the most comprehensive audiology program in the New Orleans area. In 2005, after Hurricane Katrina, she opened her own private practice to assure accommodation for her existing patients and to give greater accessibility to new patients. Mrs. Creel maintains a presence in both the Metairie and Covington offices to ensure that all patients receive the highest standard of care.
Jeffery Creel is the Special Applications Assistant at the Metairie office. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi ("Ole Miss"). Jeffery is Creel Hearing Center's expert for interfacing hearing instruments to television systems, Bluetooth telephones, computers, and other devices. He is trained to understand the advanced technology options for extreme noise environments and special listening situations. He is currently earning a doctoral degree in Audiology from LSU Health Sciences Center. Jeffery staffs the Metairie office as needed to assist new and existing patients.
Erin Rushing is completing her 4th year of doctoral studies at LSU Health Sciences Center and is a full time resident audiologist at Creel Hearing Center. Ms. Rushing's role in our clinic is to assist in diagnostic services and provide demonstrations of advanced hearing products. Her availability allows her to schedule ample appointment time for those who need extra help to understand how to use their hearing instruments. She provides a broad range of services including diagnostic hearing evaluations for adults and children, auditory processing disorder (APD) evaluations, balance assessments (VNG), and dispensing of hearing instruments for adults and children. She has participated in audiological research at Vanderbilt University and at University of Louisiana Lafayette. She also has a Master's Degree in Biology and is on faculty at River Parishes Community College. She claims "a passion for working with patients". Ms. Rushing staffs the Metairie office Monday thru Friday to accommodate new and existing patients.
