Licensed Doctor of Audiology Alaina Johnson maintains expert knowledge of the latest trends in audiological evaluation and treatment. She is a native of New Orleans, and divides her time between both the Metairie and Covington office locations. Dr. Johnson is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their best hearing possible with the latest advances in diagnostics and technology. She co-directs the Newborn Hearing Screening Program at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, as well as provides professional services to many nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout the Northshore area. Dr. Johnson is highly skilled in audiological assessment and rehabilitation for both pediatric and adult populations, and enjoys the vast diversity of seeing patients of all ages.
She earned her B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi and her Au.D. from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center of New Orleans. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech-Language-and Hearing Association.
Licensed Doctor of Audiology Daniel Bode is nationally known and respected for his vast knowledge of audiology. His patients also love his warm and friendly manner. Dr. Bode is an expert in forensic and pediatric audiology. He is also co-director of the Newborn Hearing Screening Program at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. For over three decades, Dr. Bode has been helping people hear better by accurately diagnosing hearing problems, creating custom-tailored hearing care plans, and fitting the most effective hearing aid technology available.
He is licensed in both Louisiana and Mississippi in the practice of audiology. He earned his B.A.in Speech Pathology/Psychology from Iona College of New York, his M.A. in Audiology/Speech Pathology/Deaf Education from City University of New York and his Au.D. from A.T. Still University. He is also a Certified Deaf Interpreter.
Licensed Doctor of Audiology Courtney Beatrous-Cooke sees both new and existing patients at the Metairie and Covington locations. This availability allows her to schedule ample appointment time to ensure all the needs of her patients are met and for those who may need extra assistance understanding how to use their hearing instruments. Her specialties include comprehensive hearing evaluations for adults and children and she has special interest in hearing aid dispensing for adults. She strives to help her patients to have a better quality of life through better hearing.
She earned her bachelor's degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana University and her Doctorate of Audiology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center of New Orleans. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is a native of New Orleans and currently lives in Metairie with her husband. Outside of the office, she enjoys family time, friends, pets, art, enjoys cooking and travel.
