Irma Cohens is Office Manager for EarCare Hearing Aid Centers, West 13th St. location. In this role Irma is responsible for best practices in recommendation and fitting of hearing instrument needs, client growth and retention, long range business strategies, along with keeping a Patient’s First philosophy. Irma has more than 20 years of customer service experience; specializing in the hearing industry as a licensed practitioner for over 9 years. Irma joined EarCare Hearing Aid Centers in July 2002. She obtained her licensing with the State Board of Hearing Aid Examiners in 2004 and is authorized to practice the fitting and dispensing of hearing aids in the state of Kansas. She continued to pursue the National Competency Exam and received her Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (BC-HIS), a distinguishing symbol shared by some of the most highly experienced hearing health professionals in the world. This achievement represents her initiative to excel beyond the standard requirements for hearing instrument specialists. Irma is also a qualified member of the International Hearing Society as well as the Kansas Hearing Society. She regularly attends seminars throughout Kansas and the surrounding areas to sharpen her skills and keep up with advancements in technology. Her specialties include; comprehensive hearing evaluations, post fitting rehabilitation, consultative guidance along with best fitting practices for basic, intermediate and advanced level hearing aid technology. Custom ear-molds for swimming, noise protection as well as Game Ears and Pilot Molds. Irma was born in Sialkot, Pakistan and moved to the United States in 1979. She currently resides in Wichita, KS with her husband Anthony and four children; one daughter, three sons and one grandson. Irma enjoys spending time with her family and attending church at the Ark. Her free time is spent running from baseball diamond to basketball court, supporting children’s sports activities and spending time with their grandson.

Devotion and love for family set founder Tim Brecheisen on a quest to help those suffering from hearing loss. Tim has battled a personal experience with hearing loss and one of his children has worn hearing aids most of his life.
Tim opened the first Ear Care office in 1984. Since then, EarCare has grown to 15 offices in three states. EarCare offers a variety of hearing instruments containing the highest quality, state-of-the-art technology in several styles. With every hearing aid fit, customers are guaranteed that a licensed specialist will work to maximize the effectiveness of the instrument through a process of aural rehabilitation and ongoing services.
