Tim has battled a personal experience with hearing loss from working on a farm. One of his children, Luke, also suffers from hearing loss due to Spinal Meningitis treatments received at only 8 days old. Luke has worn hearing aids most of his life. “Hearing loss is something that is in my family. My goal is to help other families cope with hearing loss,” said Tim. Tim opened the first store in 1984 and has helped over 37,000 with their hearing in Kansas alone. The goal was simple, to help as many as possible by providing free hearing screenings, free clean and checks, free video otoscopies and many other free services. EarCare has grown to 15 offices in 3 states and has over 2,000 appointments a month servicing the hearing needs of their clients.
