
Dr. Jennifer Simpson leads our talented group of audiologists as Director of Clinical Education in Audiology. She completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Washington University in Bellingham, her Master’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her AuD from University of Florida. After receiving her Master’s she worked as a staff audiologist at the Denver Veterans Hospital and the San Francisco Veterans Hospital. Her interests include early identification and intervention of infants and children with hearing loss, clinical education, and administration of the AuD program.
The Audiology Clinic is open to the public, and offers services for a fee to people of all ages, from infants to adults. The clinic's goal is to improve communication through diagnostic evaluation and rehabilitative intervention. The Audiology Clinic also provides evaluation and dispensing of hearing aids and assistive listening devices (i.e., FM listening systems, personal amplifiers, telephone amplifiers, and alarm/warning devices). An in-depth orientation is provided to ensure the proper care and use of the device, along with communication strategies to optimize benefit from the amplification devices.
