Gene Armel started his career in the hearing healthcare field in 1970. His passion for helping the hearing impaired has been magnified since he himself is hearing impaired and wears hearing instruments to improve his quality of life.
Kim Bowen has been a practicing audiologist for almost three decades and has worked with patients of all ages. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and her Master of Arts in Audiology from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She is licensed and an Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Dispenser in both Indiana and Kentucky.
Our mission at Audiology Hearing Care of southern Indiana is to identify and help the hearing-impaired population, with integrity, compassion, and dignity. We are a privately-owned small business.
CEO and owner Gene Armel has been serving the hearing impaired for over four decades. Our three offices in Madison, Greensburg, and Seymour, are all professionally staffed. Our audiologist on staff, Kim Bowen, has a Masters degree in Audiology and servces all three of our offices. We also have Licensed Hearing Care Practitioners at each location who serve our patients.
Each one of our offices is fully equipped with modern equipment, including sound booths, tympanometry, and Real Ear Measurement with Live Speech Mapping. We have otolabs for hearing aid cleanings, and the latest in computer software for programming the hearing aids.
