“On recommendation, I found John Payne (the founder) in about 1980, and I have continued to use Payne since - virtually all at Greenfield, with Judy for more than 25 years. Judy is wonderful - very caring and knowledgeable - she has gone well beyond what might be considered normal fitting and adjustments. On occasion, she has called the factory to confirm her thought of an off-the-norm adjustment to help my understanding. She arranged, at one point, for a pair of aids just over a year old to be traded by the factory for a recent release at just the added cost of the latest aids. More recently she has guided me to receive a cochlear implant, and continues to help get the most possible understanding by the other ear - that also qualifies for an implant. That is why I continue to drive 80 miles each way, for the past 15 years, to have Judy be my audiologist. ”
“He was knowledgeable, knew what he was talking about.”
“John and his son are great! They help me every time I need it! Always available to help at a moments notice! I work with the public and when my aids go down, they are always there to help me get my hearing back! I recommend them to anyone!”
“My family has a genetic hearing loss that kicks in around the age of 25. Many of my extended family members go to John. He never pushes expensive products on you. In fact, the first time I went to him he helped me decide that I didn't need hearing aids yet. Superb service and I never think he charges enough.”
“I visited several Indy area hearing aid dispensaries using the local newspaper as a guide. Seems my hearing loss was "special" and the advertised aids in the paper could not help me. Visited with John and immediately felt comfortable with him. Straight facts and figures. Purchased 2 aids that I'm extremely happy with. Great follow up after. ”
