Good Communication. It becomes you.
We are a comprehensive, speech and hearing health-care organization that treats approximately 13,000 patients a year at our three clinics. To meet the demand for our services, we now have six speech pathologists and seven audiologists, all professionally licensed and credentialed. We're also an education site for students who are completing their clinical-residency requirements in speech-language pathology and audiology. A key element of our mission is to help all who need us with the highest quality professional care at affordable rates. When our fees are too expensive for some of our patients, we offer Professional-Services Assistance to those who qualify. We are able to do this because of the generosity of individuals, Sertoma Clubs, foundations, and local businesses who support us financially so that we can provide professional speech and hearing care for anyone who needs us.
For 32 years, we have provided all our patients (closing in on a quarter million) with unsurpassed professional care regardless of their financial circumstances. In fact, since opening our first clinic, not a single patient has been denied our care because of their ability to pay. Our patients, from newborns to senior adults, receive the finest diagnostic services, treatment counseling, rehabilitation, and one-on-one personal care.

I grew up with audiology. My first experience with it was when my mother, in graduate school to become an audiologist herself, was pregnant and learning to test hearing. It must have made an impression because years later, after a short stint as a rehabilitation counselor, I went back to school for audiology. I received my Master of Arts degree in Audiology from Northwestern University, followed later with my Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Salus University. I enjoy working with people of all ages, with specific interests in diagnostic testing, dispensing of hearing instruments, hearing conservation (particularly for musicians and those that enjoy music), and auditory processing. At home I enjoy spending time with my family (husband, two daughters, son, and a very stubborn dog), running, bicycling, reading, and listening to music.
“Very informative! They did a great job, in a very timely manner.”
“Very happy with the service.”
“The whole service was great and the equipment they used for the test was good.”
