Samuel F. Vaught, Au.D. is the owner of The Audiology Center of Snellville, and has been practicing audiology since 1982. Dr. Vaught is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is clinically-certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Furthermore, he is licensed by the state of Georgia, and is an active member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology. During 2011 Dr. Vaught is serving as a member of the GAA Marketing Committee.
Dr. Vaught received his Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) degree in 2004 from the School of Audiology, Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He earned both his Master of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before entering private practice, Dr. Vaught worked in a variety of settings including: an ear, nose and throat physician’s office, a regional medical center, an audiology private practice, and for a hearing instrument manufacturer. His areas of special interests include diagnostics, electrophysiological testing, and hearing aid technology and fitting. Dr. Vaught enjoys running and exercising (when he can find time). He also is a huge sports enthusiast and is an avid UNC Tar Heel fan!
