Dr. Wynens earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in Pennsylvania and earned both a Bachelor’s and Masters’ degree in Audiology from the University of Georgia. Dr. Wynens believes there is no better reward than knowing that at the end of the day she has helped people to hear. During her years in practice she has developed programs specializing in hearing aids, tinnitus, balance disorders, and cochlear implants. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and two Labrador retrievers, as well as cycling, gardening, and photography.
For over 25 years, Maria Wynens has been improving lives one ear at a time. Her exam process and expert diagnostic abilities enable Dr. Wynens to develop successful hearing solutions for a wide spectrum of hearing disorders. She prides herself in using her knowledge and experience to help people discover a whole new world of better hearing through advanced technology hearing aids. Although getting a reputation as “the audiologist in cowboy boots,” Dr. Wynens would like her patients to remember her as “the doctor that is here for them today, helping them hear tomorrow.”
The Atlanta Hearing Doctor offers a full range of services and specializes in conducting complete hearing evaluations. We offer hearing instrument counseling, selection, fitting, and follow-up. We also participate in many national hearing aid benefit plans
