

Dr. Maria Wynens brings 25 years of professional audiology experience and delivery of successful hearing solutions to her practice here in Atlanta. Knowing the impact hearing loss can have on a person’s overall well being, Dr. Wynens listens to her patients first – carefully absorbing and evaluating their descriptions of symptoms, issues and concerns regarding treatment options. She’s devoted her practice to helping people restore their hearing to the highest level possible, utilizing a range of new technologies optimally suited to each patient’s lifestyle and condition. Her methodical exam process and expert diagnostic abilities enable Dr. Wynens to develop successful hearing solutions for a wide spectrum of hearing disorders. Dr. Wynens began her professional education in Athens, Georgia, earning both a Bachelor’s and Masters’ degree in Audiology from the University of Georgia. She obtained her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in Pennsylvania, one of the oldest learning institutions in the country specializing in audiology and optometry. Upon graduation, she studied throughout the United States with the best researchers in the field and in 1986 developed and directed hearing treatment programs for the office of Atlanta’s most respected ear surgeon. There she developed programs specializing in hearing aids, tinnitus, cochlear implants, balance disorders, and facial disorders. Today, Dr. Wynens devotes her knowledge and experience to help people discover a whole new world of better hearing. A native of Tennessee, Dr. Wynens is married, has two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family, mountain biking, cycling, reading and honing her photography skills.
