Dr. G-Anne Thomas ia a 30-year veteran in the field of audiology. She has been helping people hear better in the Athens and surrounding communities since 1988.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and her Graduate in Audiology from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama, near her hometown of Birmingham and earned her doctorate in Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences.
She has helped people hear better in a wide variety of settings and is very involved in professional organizations. She resides in Watkinsville with her husband and is a mother two grown children, the youngest serving in the United States Air Force. Outside of the office, her passions include leaded and fused glass as well as her three grandchildren.
Athens Hearing and Balance specializes in the non-medical management of hearing and hearing-related disorders to include patients with hearing loss, dizziness and disequilibrium as well as the identification, therapy and management of tinnitus. We treat hearing impairments with thorough evaluations, honest recommendations and the latest technology. Our balance services put you back on even ground by identifying your dizziness, vertigo, or motion intolerance, and recommending vestibular rehabilitation therapists to treat your condition, if necessary.
