Dr. Sarah Francis earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Audiology at the University of Wisconsin. She then went on to earn her doctorate in audiology at the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Sarah has been practicing audiology for 13 years and has been working with patients at Audiology Associates of South Florida since 2007. Her areas of expertise include pediatric audiology, cochlear implants, and hearing aid fittings for children and adults.
Dr. Diane Gillan earned her Doctor of Audiology Degree at the University of Florida. Previously, she completed her Masters degree in Audiology from Northwestern University and her Bachelor’s degree, Phi Beta Kappa, at the University of Florida. Dian has been a practicing audiologist for nearly 25 years 1989. She has gained profesional experience in a variety of settings including; hospital, otolaryngologist clinic, public schools, nursing homes and private practice. Diane has been at Audiology Associates of South Florida since 1999. Her areas of specialty include diagnostic evaluation and treatment of hearing disorders as well as dispensing digital hearing aids for children and adults.
Dr. Roberta Randel is a certified and licensed audiologist. She completed her master's degree from the University of Connecticut in followed by her doctorate in audiology from Arizona School for Health Sciences. Roberta has been working with patients for over 30 years and serves the community outside of the office in schools, hospitals, nursing homes. In addition, she is the director of the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Program at Northwest Medical Center, as well as the primary audiologist for the Broward County Early Intervention Program.
Dr. Vanessa Rando received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Florida State University. She went on to attended the University of Tennessee where she received her Doctor of Audiology. Her particular areas of expertise include evaluation and treatment of hearing disorders, vestibular testing, balance testing, and dispensing digital hearing aids to both pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Rando is a certified member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association, and is licensed by the state of Florida.
Dr. Heather Hoefer earned her Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) in May 2012 from University of South Florida. She has been with our office since June 2011 as she completed her externship with us and then began working as a doctor of audiology in her own right as of May 2012. Her expertise is in (VNG) testing for dizziness and adult hearing aid fittings. She works with all ages from young children to geriatrics. She enjoys working with adults and finds it very rewarding to assist them with their hearing health needs.
