Maura Chippendale was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned a Bachelor’s in Science degree in Audiology from the University of Georgia in 1984 and a Masters of Education degree in Audiology from the University of Georgia in 1985. She is currently enrolled in the Audiology Clinical Doctorate program of Arizona School of Health Sciences - A.T. Still University. She received her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech and Hearing Association in 1986. Ms. Chippendale is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and received her Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology (BC-ABA) in 2002. Ms. Chippendale worked for an ENT group in Macon, Georgia from 1985 until 1988. She relocated to southwest Florida and joined Audiology Consultants of Southwest Florida in 1988. In November 2012 she purchased the Audiology Consultants of SW FL Cape Coral practice and opened for business as Chippendale Audiology.
Rebecca has worked for the audiology practice for 6 years and continues to play a vital role in our top notch customer service. She gives our best first impression and works with the staff and patients to facilitate seamless service from scheduling, to intake through check out. She is extremely knowledgeable in all facets of the audiology practice and hearing aid maintenance.
We provide diagnostic testing for Cape Coral Ear, Nose and Throat and many other area physicians, and we dispense high quality hearing aids for our patients. Chippendale Audiology has recently purchased all new state-of-the-art diagnostic testing equipment. The audiometer and tympanometry are all computer based, allowing for a completely paperless office. We incorporated Otoacoustic Emission Testing into our test battery. There is new, state-of-the-art Real Ear Verification equipment, allowing us to more accurately adjust and verify the settings of our patient’s hearing devices.
Chippendale Audiology is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm to serve your patient’s needs, inclusive of but not limited to baseline hearing evaluations, hearing evaluation for presbycusis, monitoring evaluations for ototoxic drug treatment, evaluations for dizziness, evaluations for tinnitus, monitoring hearing levels of diabetic patients, and evaluations for sudden hearing loss. We offer a full range of premium hearing devices and follow up with personalized care to assure that your patients get the maximum aided benefit. We offer 60 day trial periods for hearing aid fittings to assure that each of our patients are completely satisfied with their aided outcome. Your patients will receive the personal attention that they deserve. We strive to see your patients in a very timely fashion and provide you with written reports within 24 hours of their appointments. We look forward to serving you!
