
DC Audiology offers comprehensive Audiological evaluations, which include complete diagnostic hearing testing and treatment and rehabilitation services. The Center will also provide services such as the fitting of musician earplugs, sound protector plugs, swim plugs and various other earmold needs.
DC Audiology, which opened in April 2002, provides the above-mentioned services, as well as Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing, Electrocochleography (ECoG) testing, Electronystagmography (ENG) testing.

Mabel is the Clinical Audiologist at DC audiology. She earned her Masters of Audiology at the Institute of Sound and Vibration at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science with honors in Neuroscience at the University of Manchester where she became interested in the auditory system and the study of hearing loss. In between her Undergraduate and Master’s degree, Mabel took part in the Japanese Exchange and Teaching program where she lived in Japan for two years and taught English to High School students and at the Matsue Deaf School in Shimane, Japan. Mabel has gained her clinical experience in a variety of settings and has worked for both private practice and the government health service in the United Kingdom. She is a fully licensed audiologist in Washington, DC and is a registered Audiologist with Registration Council of Clinical Physiologists (RCCP) in the United Kingdom. Mabel utilizes comprehensive audiologic and vestibular diagnostic test batteries, hearing aid fittings, and informational counseling in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of hearing and balance disorders. Her patients encompass the entire life span, from infants to geriatrics.
