Dr. Burton, is the director of the program and is board certified in audiology. She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Connecticut and her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences. She has been an audiologist for over 25 years and was recently awarded the Presidential Award from the American Academy of Audiology for her contributions to the profession. She enjoys working with both children and adults. She practices in the Waterbury and Southbury locations.
Kay earned her Master’s degree in Audiology from Southern Connecticut State University and has over 25 years of audiology experience. She has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, physicians’ offices, a private audiology practice, and a university clinic. She enjoys working with both children and adults. She currently practices in the Waterbury office.
Dr. Byram received his Bachelor’s Degree from Bridgewater State College and his Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Byram is passionate about helping persons with hearing loss His area of specialty is advanced hearing aid technology and he enjoys working with both children and adults.
Easter Seals Center for Better Hearing is a non-profit practice that has served the Greater Waterbury area since 1969. Our focus is not on selling products, but rather on meeting the unique hearing and communication needs of each of our patients.
Our highly skilled audiologists conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the nature of a person’s hearing difficulties. For hearing loss that cannot be medically or surgically corrected, we provide hearing aids as well as practical information on what to really expect from hearing technology. By considering hearing loss, lifestyle, and budget, we provide solutions to address each individual’s hearing difficulties.
