As a long-term acute care hospital, we provide care and treatment beyond the scope of a traditional hospital. At Gaylord, we specialize in three distinct areas: * Medically Complex Care * Rehabilitation * Sleep Medicine We live out our care philosophy of treating each patient as an individual by paying careful attention to each person&rsquo;s unique needs. Inpatient medically complex care and rehabilitation are offered at Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford. Outpatient rehabilitation is available at the hospital and at our satellite site at the Gaylord Wellness Center in North Haven. Sleep medicine services are provided at centers in Glastonbury, Guilford, North Haven and Trumbull. Highly Specialized Care Gaylord Hospital provides a higher level of care than can be found in sub-acute and skilled nursing facilities. Our use of advanced technology and a specially trained team of expert providers help to minimize costly patient transfers, which interrupt the recovery process and can result in health complications or setbacks.
