With a doctorate in audiology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Abbye Callendar serves as an audiologist for Hearing Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Callendar has dedicated her career to helping people hear better, finding the right fit for each individual's needs and helping improve her patient's quality of life. An active member in her community, she hosts hearing healthcare seminars focused on the lifelong impact of hearing loss. In addition to her dedication to audiology, Dr. Callendar also enjoys spending time with her husband, child and three rescue animals.
With 12 years of customer service experience, Tina Wenning serves as the office manager for Hearing Rehabilitation Center. In addition to interacting with people, Tina also is passionate about animals.
As the audiologist here at Hearing Rehab Center in Colorado Springs North, Dr. Callendar's job is to help people hear better, not to just sell them a product. It is important for a person with a hearing loss to understand their hearing loss and be educated on their options. We feel that through education, we can spread the word that it is “okay” to wear hearing aids and that when properly fit, hearing aids really DO work!!
