With a degree in communication disorders and audiology, Dr. Katie Steinhafel has extensive experience in biomedical science and hearing evaluations. Katie originally joined Hearing Rehabilitation Center as a doctoral resident and now operates her own office. She has a passion for helping people and their families with hearing loss issues. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running with her dog and the outdoors.
Robin Smith joined Hearing Rehabilitation Center in 2012. As a native to the Colorado Springs area, she loves volunteering in the community and tending to her garden.
As the audiologist here at Hearing Rehab Center in Colorado Springs South, Dr. Steinhafel's job is to help people hear better, not to just sell them a product. It is important for a person with a hearing loss to understand their hearing loss and be educated on their options. We feel that through education, we can spread the word that it is “okay” to wear hearing aids and that when properly fit, hearing aids really DO work!!
