Christopher is our Senior Audiologist and Chairman. His experience includes hearing aid research with over 55 publications and university teaching positions in Maryland and Colorado. He is a frequent lecturer at national and inter-national professional/scientific meetings. Christopher also lectures and conducts research at the University of Northern Colorado.
Karima Thobani, BC-HIS, is co-owner and President of Family Hearing. She offers over 25 years of experience with hearing aids. Karima's education focused on early childhood education. She has communication skills in six languages, not including the language of hearing aid technology! She is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences, a member of the International Hearing Society, and previously served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Hearing Society.
Jennifer LaBorde, B.A., BC-HIS (Assistant Manager) completed her Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders at the University of Colorado. Jennifer's value to Family Hearing Centers has continued to expand and Boulder office clients will affirm her cheerful competence is a special asset In a business dedicated to service and support.
Alison Seiler earned her B.A. in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She volunteered at the CU Speech & Hearing Center while attending CU, and has worked at Family Hearing Center since January of 2011. A Colorado Springs native, Alison spends much of her free time skiing in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. She is a competitive tennis player and loves helping individuals hear the world around them.
Chelsea Brude, B.S., BC-HIS graduated from the University of Northern Colorado’s Audiology & Speech program in 2008. She has worked in the profession for the past several years in Colorado and New Mexico before joining our family of Hearing Care Professionals. Chelsea enjoys playing and listening to music, as well as camping and hiking. Chelsea has an obvious love for people, and a growing competence in her craft. You’ll find Chelsea’s special charm and dedication to hearing solutions in the Broomfield.
Deborah Gooding is our Patient Care Coordinator based in the Lafayette office. Originally from Illinois, Deborah lives in Lafayette. She has extensive office management experience in numerous professional assignments.We know you’ll appreciate Deborah’s personal care and cheerful attention in scheduling and assorted service offerings to our guests.
Brittany is Patient Care Coordinator for the Broomfield office. Like Alison, Brittany has lived her entire life in Colorado, and she shares the passion of the entire “family” for helping to reduce the stress of hearing difficulties. Her bright smile and gentle manner is exactly the kind of person to make you feel comfortable, welcome, and well-cared for at the award-winning Family Hearing Center. She enjoys her family and her variety of animal pets and going to concerts.
Kristin Danielson anchors the busy Boulder office as a sparkling example of what it means to be a Patient Care Coordinator. A smile that’s both a mile high and a mile wide, Kristin brings a wealth of valued experience in consumer relations to the hearing help profession. Active teenagers at home may contribute to her unique ability to multi-task and keep steady in the occasional storm. We think you’ll agree, Kristin is another name for personal care.
