For over 20 years Amy has been immersed in the field of audiology. Early in her career Amy was able to assist her grandfather with hearing devices and she's been helping others ever since. She's worked with patients of all ages across a wide spectrum of specialties including amplification, pediatrics, and vestibular assent. In her professional experience, Amy has served as an audiologist for 10 years with PAMF from 2003 to present with prior experience at clinics in Los Gatos and San Jose.
Amy has a special passion in the area of tinnitus and provides assessment, counseling and management in tinnitus therapy. She's been certified with Tinnitus Practitioners Association and holds a membership with the American Tinnitus Association. Additionally, she's a resident consultant in the Palo Alto ATA, a sponsored support group.
She earned her BA in 1992 from San Jose State University in Communication Disorders and Sciences, and her Masters Degree in Audiology from San Jose State University in 1994. Following her postgraduate work Amy received her doctorate from Salus University George S. Osborne College of Audiology in 2009. She's also a Fellow Member of California Academy of Audiology and American Academy of Audiology.
Amy is a native of Sunnyvale, but she hasn’t stopped there. Over the years she and her husband have travelled the world from Europe and the Greek Isles to South America and Asia. Her taste for fine food is just as worldly with Mediterranean, Indian, and Thai topping her foodie list. When she’s not enjoying the outdoors bike riding with her son Cameron, her indoor passion is sitting with her two cats and scouring the latest fashion magazines.
