Karen M Scott Au.D.

Dr. Scott received her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from the George S. Osborne School of Audiology at Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is a member of the American Auditory Society. Karen is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and received her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She has been licensed since 1973 by the State of California to engage in the private practice of Clinical Audiology and to dispense hearing aids.

Christy received her undergraduate and Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology at San Diego State University. She then did a clinical fellowship at the VA Medical Center in La Jolla, California, and at the San Diego Unified School District. She has practiced audiology at (Rady) Children’s Hospital and Health Center in San Diego, and at Kaiser Permanente on Maui, Hawaii. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is licensed by the State of California as an audiologist, and is also licensed to dispense hearing aids. Christy joined Karen Scott Audiology in 2000, and is a specialist in Pediatric Audiology.

Jacque received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Community Health Education from California State University in Long Beach. Following graduation, Jacque worked for the American Cancer Society in San Luis Obispo. She’s been with Karen Scott Audiology for over 12 years as a Hearing Care Specialist and Hearing Aid Counselor. She finds great satisfaction helping her patients select and succeed with their new hearing devices.
