David Woodruff

AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Dr. David K. Woodruff is a Board Certified Doctor of Audiology.  An audiologist since 1986, Dr. Woodruff holds a Doctorate in Audiology from A. T. Still University (ATSU) – Arizona School of Health Sciences and a graduate degree in Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University.  Subsequently he taught as an adjunct professor at San Diego State University training and lecturing nurses, hospital staff, and the public.

Dr. Woodruff served as the Audiology Consultant for the Poway School District in San Diego County, served on the Board for the California Academy of Audiology and is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Specializing in clinical audiology, hearing aid dispensing, sound and noise control, sound level and environment studies for corporations, industries and municipalities nationwide, Dr. Woodruff also serves as an expert witness for legal cases involving hearing or noise trauma that cause hearing loss, vertigo and tinnitus.

John Rundles

AuD, FAAA

Dr. John T. Rundles has been a Clinical Audiologist for over 40 years. He attended the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, Audiology Program in the School of Medicine. His graduate studies involved a research project with the Federal Department of Indian Services and he received his Masters of Science Degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology in 1971.

Dr. Rundles worked for the Health Department of British Columbia, Canada implementing a complete Audiology program for the northern region. Thereafter, he went into private practice in Victoria, British Columbia and became Director of Audiological Services at the Western Institute of the Deaf in Vancouver, British Columbia and on staff at the University of British Columbia Medical School, Audiology Department.

Dr. Rundles moved to California in the early 1980s and opened his own Audiology clinic in Glendale, California.   After 21 years in private practice, Dr. Rundles retired and moved to Oceanside, California.

With the desire to see and care for patients and to remain connected in the field of Audiology, Dr. Rundles joined the team at Rancho Santa Fe Audiology.

Dr. Rundles is dually licensed in California as a clinical audiologist and as a hearing aid dispenser. He has extensive experience in all areas of Audiology in addition to the rehabilitation of hearing loss, tinnitus and the fitting of hearing instruments.
