David Michael Illich, AuD, has been serving San Diego’s North County hearing care needs since 1982. For more than 30 years, he has served as the Chief of Audiology and Hearing Services for the Palomar Pomerado Hospital District as well as Tri-City. With a doctorate in audiology from A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences, David is committed to providing the best hearing care possible, from patient-centered care to the most advanced and current hearing technology. David has two children with wife Kathleen and enjoys finding time to hike, read and spend time with family.

Professional Hearing Associates, Inc., has been locally owned and operated since 1984. Providing highly qualified and trained Clinical Audiologist in three convenient locations: Escondido, Poway and Oceanside. We provide services for most HMOs and insurance companies. Professional Hearing also offers a 60-day risk free trial on all custom hearing devices, as well as long term maintenance of your hearing health included every time we dispense an instrument. We assure you during each visit that we will address your communicative needs in a personalized and professional manner.
