Metro Hearing was founded in 1980 as Metro Hearing Aid near the Metro Center Mall in northwest Phoenix with one staff audiologist serving the medical ear specialist community. Presently, Metro Hearing has five staff audiologists and five locations in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The audiologists are board certified by the American Board of Audiology which requires 20 hours of continuing education, more than double what the state of AZ requires. As one of the largest audiology practices in the nation, Metro Hearing incorporates the latest diagnostic hearing technology to best serve those with hearing loss and tinnitus difficulties. We also offer pediatric hearing evaluations.

Jared has been practicing audiology since 2002. He received his Master’s of Audiology degree from Utah State University in Logan. He is interested in the effects of sounds we hear in our everyday lives and how to help people hear those sounds more clearly, especially in backgound noise. “I chose the field of audiology primarily to have the opportunity to improve the quality of life for patients with hearing impairment. It is extremely rewarding when, through the use of today's hearing aid technology, you can give a patient back part of their life that has been missing.” Jared was raised in the Phoenix community of Peoria
