The Hearing Center at North Valley ENT provides a wide spectrum of hearing services for adults and children: complete audiological evaluation, which includes: air conduction testing bone conduction testing speech testing immittance testing, which includes: tympanometry (measures the movement of the tympanic membrane) acoustic reflexes (measures the contraction of the stapedius muscle when loud sounds are presented) Otoacoustic Emission Testing (OAE) assistive listening devices: alerting systems (such as visual signal smoke detectors and doorbells) personal listening systems (such as infrared TV listening systems) custom hearing aids custom-fit water protection ear plugs for patients prone to infection, and sound protection plugs for musicians, hunters and others regularly exposed to damaging sound levels.
