Arizona Otolaryngology Consultants (AOC ) was established in 1997 with the mission of providing the Phoenix metropolitan area and the state of Arizona with the highest level of ENT/Head & Neck care for adults and children. AOC is structured to provide multiple levels of comprehensive primary ENT care including the diagnosis and management of all diseases of the ears, nose, throat, and sinuses. In addition, AOC provides the full spectrum of subspecialty ENT care including the management of pediatric airway, cancer, skull base surgery, neuro-otology, advanced head and neck surgical and reconstructive procedures, and craniofacial surgery. To accomplish its mission AOC has selected physicians with the highest level of expertise and training in these respective fields. AOC Physicians recognize the importance of serving the community. Our physicians are actively involved in multiple not- for-profit and community organizations which share the goals of improving the quality of health of the individuals and families they serve. These organizations include: Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation, Child Crisis Centers, St. Vincent DePaul Clinic, Neighborhood Christian Clinic, Children's Rehabilitative Services, Banner Health Foundation, Ryan House, and St. Joseph's Foundation. AOC Physicians are integral members of the hospital and medical staff community in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. AOC Physicians maintain active medical staff membership/privileges at numerous Valley hospitals including: Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Phoenix Children's Hospital, Banner Desert Medical Center, Cardon's Children's Medical Center, Barrow Acoustic Neuroma Center, Barrow Neurological Institute, and Scottsdale Healthcare Shea. Our physicians are also actively involved in the following committees/teams: Pediatric Airway Program at PCH; Cranio Facial Team at St. Joe's; Skull Base Surgery Team at Barrow Neurological Institute; Barrow Acoustic Neuroma Center; and the Pediatric Airway Program at Cardon's Children's Medical Center. AOC Physicians value physician education and training and as such are actively involved in physician training/residency programs. These include the Family Practice Residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center; Internal Medicine and Pediatric Residencies at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center; and the ENT Residency Program at the Mayo Clinic.
