A practicing audiologist since 2000, Dan Trimble received his audiology degree from Utah State University in Logan. Dan's extensive clinical and patient experience has sparked a personal interest in staying current with the most advanced digital hearing technologies, diagnostic audiometric testing and the transition patients make from having hearing loss to using new aids. Dan also is passionate about continuing education and seeks to create an individualized treatment plan to cater to each patient's needs.
Dr. Kelly Halterman joins the Metro Hearing team with a doctorate in audiology from State University of New York at Buffalo. Kelly has refined her clinic and patient skills with a combination of private practices and large, public hearing and speech centers. She has a special interest in ever-evolving hearing aid technology, in addition to mapping a patient's vestibular and balance system. Kelly has extensive knowledge in cochlear implants with both adult and pediatric patients. Kelly has battled her own speech challenges throughout life and attributes this to being the catalyst behind her career in audiology.
With her doctorate in audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas, Dr. Rebecca Ference joins the Metro Hearing team with a special interest in treating children. Rebecca's experience in a busy ear, nose and throat clinic has made her transition to Metro an easy one. She enjoys the opportunity to help people hear better and has garnered knowledge in cochlear implant programming, amplification and vestibular assessment. Rebecca's most memorable patient so far is a seven-year-old boy whom she fitted with his first pair of hearing aids.
Metro Hearing has been serving Phoenix and the surrounding area for over 30 years. The practice started with one location and one audiologist in 1980. Today, Metro Hearing has five offices and five audiologists in order to serve your needs better. The audiologists pride themselves on staying current with advances in hearing technology, participating in more than double the amount of continuing education than what is required by the state of Arizona. As one of the largest audiology practices in the state, Metro Hearing incorporates the latest diagnostic hearing technology to best serve those with hearing and tinnitus difficulties.
