Amy Buckner

CCC-A
Amy Buckner, MCD, CCC-A Amy, a clinical audiologist, has been a member of our staff since 1994. She is a native of northwest Arkansas, having grown up in Fayetteville. She received a bachelor's of science degree from Elmira College in speech and hearing sciences and completed a Master's degree in communication disorders/audiology (MCD) from Auburn University. She is nationally certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and maintains an Arkansas State Audiology license. Amy has a special professional interest in hearing amplification, including fitting the newest digital and programmable hearing instruments on children and adults. Amy is the director of our audiology division at the Ear, Nose, & Throat Center of the Ozarks.

Mary O'Brien

Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Mary O’Brien is an audiologist with interest in areas of adult and pediatric hearing assessment and treatment, as well as balance evaluation and treatment. She is a native of Northwest Arkansas and received her Bachelor’s Degree (BSE) in Communication Disorders from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Dr. O’Brien attended the University of Memphis to continue her education, where she graduated with a doctorate of Audiology (AuD). Dr. O’Brien is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association. Dr. O’Brien enjoys getting to know her patients and individualizing rehabilitation plans which focus on personal communication needs.

Our Mission:Ear, Nose,and Throat Center of the Ozarks is a private medical practice committed to providing comprehensive specialty care of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck (otolaryngology-head neck surgery) to northwest Arkansas and throughout the entire Ozark region. Our main goal is to provide compassionate care that is equal or greater in quality to that available anywhere else in the United States. We strive to understand each patient's concerns and to provide care that is medically sound, ethical, and customized to the needs of each individual.What is otolaryngology?All of our physicians practice as specialists in the field of otolaryngology-head neck surgery. Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists are trained in the medical and surgical management of patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat (ENT), head, and neck (excluding the brain and spine). They are commonly referred to as ENT surgeons. Their special skills include diagnosing and managing diseases of the ear, nose, sinuses, larynx (voice box), oral cavity, and pharynx (throat), as well as structures of the neck and face.

Ear, Nose, and Throat Center of the Ozarks is a full service otolaryngology-head and neck surgery clinic with expertise in treating both children and adults. Our clinic is equipped with modern video and endoscopic diagnostic instrumentation. We provide the most comprehensive range of audiology services in northwest Arkansas including hearing testing, hearing aid dispensing, cochlear implants (adults only), and vestibular (inner-ear balance) testing. Our clinic provides premier state-of-the art services in facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Our board-certified facial plastic surgeons have a rich experience in aging-face surgery (face, neck, brow and eyelids), nasal contouring (rhinoplasty), and minimally invasive techniques for facial rejuvenation.
