Angelene Naro

M.C.D., CCC-A, FAAA

Angelene H. Naro, Audiologist and owner, is licensed in the state of Alabama, holds certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She received her bachelor’s in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Auburn University, her master’s degree in Communication Disorders with an emphasis in Audiology from Auburn University, and completed her Clinical Fellowship at the University of Kentucky.

Angelene is a native of Butler County and is married with three children. She opened Naro Audiology and Hearing Solutions in October 2010 on the campus of D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital, and with her comes years of experience that include a multi-physician ENT clinic, a university clinic, and satellite offices in remote areas.

It’s not the setting, however, that gives Angelene the motivation to do what she does: it’s the idea that improving a person’s hearing can change that person’s quality of life.

Kimberly Huggins

Administrative Assistant

Kimberly Huggins grew up in the South, went to Flomaton High and Jefferson Davis College in Brewton. She worked for a few years at D.W. McMillan Hospital before leaving Alabama. She ventured out to Los Angeles, California where she lived and worked for 25 years. She continued in the medical field working in the scheduling department, front office, office manager, and eventually administrator for a medical practice. In 1998, she started a medical transcription business that she operated for approximately 12 years. She returned to the area to take care of her elderly parents, which has been a blessing to her and them as well.

At Naro Audiology & Hearing Solutions, our mission is to provide professional audiological services and hearing health care while developing excellent rapport with our patients by giving individualized attention and personal, compassionate care. We do our best to accurately test and diagnose every patient. For the hearing impaired, we seek to improve quality of life and maximized communication by listening to the patients needs, accurately diagnosing their hearing loss and providing a vast array of comunication solutions and cutting edge technologies to meet the needs of the patient.
