“I met with Anne Jaramillo yesterday for the first time. I was prescribed hearing aids 7 years ago but they didn't seem to be working. Ms. J tested my hearing and re-programmed my hearing aids based on the test results. She then proceeded to explain several features of my hearing aids that the original provider never mentioned. She then noticed that my hearing aids were fitting somewhat loosely, so she provided me with "locks". She explained how these should be installed, and she assured herself that I could properly insert them. Ms. Jaramillo holds advanced degrees in audiology -- and it shows. She is very knowledgeable. Better yet, she is an excellent communicator. For a person my age who is not technologically savvy, her patience was appreciated. After my appointment I returned home and sat down in my office. "What was that tick, tick tick I was hearing?" I wondered. It was the small clock on the shelf right above my computer. I had never heard it before. ”
