Dr. Lisa A. Moore, Au.D., CCC-A, received her B.A. in Child Development from California State University, Sacramento and her Doctorate in Audiology from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She completed her Fourth Year Fellowship at the Durham VA Medical Center. Dr. Moore brings a diverse background with her to the field of Audiology, including an eight year enlistment in the U.S. Air Force working in the field of Medical Administration, Day Care Center Director, and experience with research on vocal learning in songbirds. Dr. Moore is certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association, and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology. She welcomes all patients, but her primary interests are balance disorders and hearing aids in adult patients. In her spare time, Dr. Moore enjoys exercising and watching college sports. Patricia A. Wild, M.A., CCC-A, received her B.A. degree from California State University at Hayward and her M.A. degree from the University of Denver. She worked as a clinical audiologist at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital in Inglewood, California for 17 years before relocating with her family to Durham. Her primary areas of interest are hearing aid fitting and pediatric audiology. She is married to Michael James, a regional manager for Nestle Clinical Nutrition and has two daughters attending elementary school.

Zachary van der Meer, Au.D is certified by both the American Speech Language Hearing Association and the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists, and is licensed by the NC State Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Board. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Shippensburg University in 1995 and his Doctor of Audiology degree form Gallaudet University in 2002. He was awarded the Audiology Foundation of American Au.D. scholarship in 2000 and was inducted into the Who’s Who of American Colleges and Universities in both 2001 and 2002. In addition, he was declared a Gallaudet President’s Scholar every semester he attended University. Dr. van der Meer is skilled in the use of both sign language and cued speech. An experienced instructor, his past lecture topics include cochlear implants, intraoperative facial nerve monitoring and hearing loss with aging. Dr. van der Meer has also been designated a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
